How To Crack or Qualify HPPSC Preliminary Examination

HPPSC exams has been  considered  one of the toughest  exam of Himachal Pradesh. By qualifying HPPSC exam aspirant  is eligible  to get various  posts , which comprises of HAS (Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services), HPS (Himachal Pradesh Police Services), BDO (Block Divisional Officer) and Tehsildaar. These post are distributed  by different  criteria. Like merit of the examination, categories wise and vacancies  wise. Generally who tops the examination  get opportunity  to choose any post of their choice. Other posts are disturbed  by above mentioned  criteria.

The jobs which are secured by cracking HPPSC exam are generally  lucarative in nature and provides  many facilities  to the employees . So there is very tough competition to crack this examination .

TIPS TO CRACK HPPSC PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

As we know that this exam requires full dedication and focus of aspirant . There are many students who qualify exam without  coaching and others are not able to qualify after taking coaching too.

Here we discuss  the main issue why some students are qualify exam without coaching and other fails although  they took coaching.

Generally there are two types of students . First are those who can focus on their study and grasp the things easliy. We do not suggest  these students  to go for coaching. But they can choose test series  of standard coaching institution  which helps them to test their preparation  before sitting in main examination.

Second type of students  are those who are lacking in focus and can not concentrate  on their studies  but also want to crack exam. For those students we suggest  to join standard coaching classes ,so that they can feel competitive  environment . This definitely  leeds to good result , except  they need to stop social networking  site during preparation  period, because these networking  sites consume lot of time.

So please try to avoid social networking  websites during  preparation  period as muh as possible . But you can take help from internet if you find any doubt in studies.

HPPSC question  paper generally  focus  on concept . So try build your concept  rather than memories  random questions . Try to focus on main topics of syllabus ,on which HPPSC generally  concentrate  more. Try to study from standard books only, because standard books are less prone to error.

PATTERN OF HPPSC PRE EXAMINATION

HPPSC preliminary  examination  comprises  of two exams. First is for General studies. Which comprises of many different  subjects and topics. Generally this section  contains questions  from Himachal general  knowledge , Himachal current  affairs , National and International current  affairs , some from environment , Indian general  knowledge  and general science .

This is main section which everyone  needs to qualify for main examination.

The second exam is of General aptitude , which comprises  question of aptitude, reasoning  and English. The question are generally  asked are based on tenth standard . This exam is qualify in  nature. Aspirants needs to get only qualify marks.

Both the HPPSC Preliminary exam are of 200 marks each.

Based on merit of these both exam students  are generally  selected  for main exam,which is conventional  in nature.The students  are generally  selected  for main examination  by multiple of six from total number of seats. For example if there are 100 opening then 600 aspirant  are selected by HPPSC for main examination.
